Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief on land at Vicar Lane, Daventry found no evidence for medieval or earlier remains. Post-medieval activity was recorded with modern buiding levels and a large undated horizon of garden soil and/or artificial make up of ground above the natural clays.
