Description

{1} An archaeological desk-based assessment and a trial trench evaluation were undertaken on land west of Church Walk, Weldon, Northamptonshire. Two trenches close to Church Walk revealed a number of pits and gullies, largely dating to the medieval period, and it is likely that this relates to occupation fronting the lane. Site code: WCW00.
