Description
The only trenches excavated within Northamptonshire were located between the A43 and The Assarts. Only a single archaeological feature was noted at cSK9899 0038, about 50m west of the site of the possible furnace already recorded.The feature comprised a pit containing frequent lumps of slag, but no other finds.
