Description

{1} Fieldwalking survey revealed an extremely large and dense concentration of Romano-British pottery covering an area of 8ha on the west side of the field. Large and dense concentrations of early/middle Saxon and late Saxon pottery were spread over an area of up to 3ha at the south end of Field 2.
