Full Description
{1} Darsdale Brickworks. Brickworks lay behind the gas works on Wellington Road. These brickworks used an early method of production for brick making. The site remains undeveloped. RN0072007.
{2} Brickworks in operation prior to opening of new site (1301/16) in 1850's. Used turf huts. Still visible in Dawsdale (behind the old Gas Works in Wellington Road).
{4} A brickworks existed prior to the 1850s, located in the stream valley of Darsdale.
