{1} Manor house. C16th. Regular coursed limestone with lias dressings. Half H-plan. 2 storeys with attic. Entrance front of 3-window range with flanking gabled cross wings breaking forward. 4-light stone-mullioned windows to ground floor and 3-light stone-mullioned windows to first floor and attic reducing in width at attic level. C19 part-glazed door to right of centre under 4-centre moulded stone head. 2-light cellar window to left of door. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and ashlar stacks at ridge. Elevation to right, abutting road, is of 4-window range of 2- and 3-light stone-mullioned windows. Rear is similar with projecting cross wing to left. Interior: hall has C16 staircase with heavy turned balusters and panelling with incised decoration. Room to right of entrance has C16/C17 fireplace with 4-centred moulded stone arch. Said to have datestone 1510. Used for a time as the vicarage.

{4} The vicarage, said to have been originally the manor-house, is a large 17th century building with mullioned windows under parallel gabled roofs.

{5} Grade I. In excellent condition and the interior is only a little altered.

Standing close to the church and south of it is a later 16th century house of limestone rubble with sandstone dressing. Roughly half H-shaped with the projecting gabled wings on the entrance front facing southeast. There is another wing from the northwest corner at the rear and from this single storey extensions of later date. It has tiled roofs mainly late, simple stone chimney stacks with cement rendered flues, moulded verges with a plain stump on the kneelers. There is a powerful plinth along the north-east side and a continuous cornice at 1st floor level. All the windows have moulded stone mullions and a few early diamond leaded casements remain. The south-east front has a 4-light window to the ground floor in both projecting wings and a 3-light to the 1st floor and attics. In the recessed section there is a 3-light window to both floors, a 2-light window to the semi-basement and at the right hand
side a doorway with a moulded 4-centre arched head. (Late door). The return faces of the wings have a 3-light window to both floors. Similar windows in all other walls. The whole building is in excellent condition and the interior is only little altered. The original staircase with moulded handrail and heavy turned balusters is intact.
