Full Description

{2} There is documentary evidence for a medieval deer park at Great Doddington. In 1317 Robert Chaumpaigne complained men beseiged his house, cut down his trees, broke his park and seized his cattle. The location of the park is not known. Robert held one of the two manors in Doddington at this period, Barnard's Manor.
