Full Description

{1} Long mound c.30-40m long x 15m wide x 0,5m high; slight possibility of mound being burial site because of proximity to round barrow.

{2} Contour plan of earthwork produced as part of 1991 Upton Survey; rectangular or oval mound; min 56m long x 24m wide; stands up to 0.4m high; possible prehistoric ritual monument.

{3} At SP 72305921 is a long mound, about 30.-40 m. by about 15 m. and approximately 0.5 m. high.

{4} The possible long mound or barrow is approx 150m long x 60m wide and 0.4m at its highest point. A trench 37m long was excavated across its long axis, no significant archaeological features were found. The mound has been interpreted as a gravel outcrop.

{6} Contour plan, Fig 4. Mound approximately 150m long x 60m wide x 0.4m high at its highest point; oriented east-west; it was revealed that mound is probably a natural feature comprising high outcrop of gravel and natural bank; no ditch was revealed to north of mound where it was previously thought there might be a side ditch.
