Full Description
{3} A certain amount of reconstruction of the medieval open field pattern of Ecton is possible from the 1703 strip map which is especially detailed with regard to strips and furlong boundaries. Some present field boundaries are identified as following the line fo pre-enclosure furlong boundaries.
