Full Description

{1} Area of ridge and furrow shown on plan in report but not mentioned in text.

{2} Trench 1 contained a feature which may denote the base of a plough furrow, and a drain comprised of pieces of limestone laid in pitched fashion. Trench 2 contained a broad, shallow linear feature, probably the base of a former cultivation furrow, as well as the narrow trench of a land drain.
