Full Description

{1} A north-west to south-east aligned band of darker clay traversed the northwest end of trench 12. Extremely indistinct in plan, this area had a depth of leass than 0.1m. No finds were recovered from the feature but a small quantity of 13th to 14th century pottery was collected from the trench surface. A possible continuation of the this feature was identified in trenches 13 and 14.The feature may represent a truncated plough furrow althout its alignment doesn't correspond well with any existing boundaries.
