{1}Camp probably that depicted on current OS maps as `Brigstock Camp (smallholding)'. Information from B Bellamy in November 1997 suggest that this camp was established in the 1930's or earlier for training of prospective Canadian emigrant in industrial/agricultural skills. It was reputedly not used as a POW camp during WW2.
