Full Description

{1} Geophysical survey identified a strong positive rectilinear anomaly measuring c60m x 35m. The enclosure extends northwards beyond the extent of the geophysical survey. The south-western corner is right-angled while the south-eastern corner appears more irregular, possibly overlying a stream bed. A short-lived boundary, depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey map shared an alignment with the eastern edge of the enclosure, although the boundary extends beyond it.

{2} Trial trench excavation identified ditches associated with the enclosure. Finds from the ditch fill dated to the 18th-19th centuries.
