Full Description

{1} A brick wall on ironstone foundations was revealed in trench 1. The mid section of the wall was removed to reveal post holes of an earlier boundary - these contained post-med pot sherds. A gully or ditch at right angles to the wall - stratigraphically earlier - also contained post-medieval pottery. The position of the wall closely equates to the boundary shown between plots 132 and 133 in the 1803 Inclosure map of Daventry.
