Full Description

{2} At Rothwell Inclsure took place in the early C19th and Moor Field was one of the there open fields prior to this date. (The only stratified artefacts found were fragments of C19th brick, tile and pottery recovered from the backfill of the furrows, and a few unstratified artefacts were all modern, therefore post-dating Inclosure.
