Summary

Cropmarks of a complex of conjoined rectilinear enclosures with internal features. Beyond the core of the enclosures there are a number of other cropmarks that mey be associated, but are more difficult to interpret. Romano-British pottery has been found in the vicinity.

Full Description

{1} Cropmarks of possible enclosures. Their interpretation as archaeological features is questionable. Not all possible features have been plotted.

{2} (SP 8233626) Cropmarks (seen) by R Hollowell August 1964 (Nothing visible on available AP's RAF 1960)

{3} This site has been photographed from the air, early 1970, by R Hollowell but the prints are not yet available. No finds have been made in the area which is now under Kale.
