Abstract/Summary

An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out on behalf of Barwood Homes Ltd, on land north of Hampton Drive. The works identified probable Iron Age roundhouse ring sitches and an enclosure dating to the 2nd and 1st centuries BC. The features were concentrated in the south of the development area.
