Cropmarks of conjoined rectilinear enclosures, boundary ditches, pits and at least one ring ditch identified on aerial photographs.

Full Description

{1} Cropmarks of two square enclosures, c.0.2ha in area. One contains a possible round house; SP73156390;

{2} Dallington Heath SP725635 flown 1963 by R.Hollowell and T.Morgan.

{4} Trial excavation undertaken in March-June 1991 by Oxford Archaeology Unit in area of cropmarks. No archaeological features were found thus indicating recent destruction of the site.

{10} (SP 733637) Cropmarks of a square enclosure.

{11} Pit alignments are visible running from SP 73006383 to SP 72946351 and from SP 73236381 to SP 73216362.

{12} The pit alignments mentioned in the above text are now detailed in NMR record SP 76 SW 104 and the ring ditch in record SP 76 SW 103.
