Monument record 2008 - Possible Prehistoric and Saxon Funerary Activity

Summary
Cropmarks of probable prehistoric enclosures and ring ditches have been identified on aerial photography. Subsequent archaeological investigation, comprising geophysical survey and trial trench excavation, tentatively interpreted the ring ditches as Bronze Age round barrows. A Saxon burial was also identified.
