Monument record 977 - East Haddon

Summary
In 1086, East Haddon was held by the Count of Mortain and had a church and mill. The current church is a replacement, having 12th century origins. Earthworks of former medieval/post-medieval settlement, including a manor house site, survive at the south end of the village.
